This is a mixed technique piece.  It began as a grey toned acrylic pour.  This area was maintained as the moon area only, with further painting done on the moon.  The moon colors are many, with color shifting qualities, depending on which angle your'e looking at it.   The upper area is black, with tones of blues, and some greens for a hint of northern lights.  Some areas of paint were removed out of the black sky, to give the impression of a starry night sky.  The trees and the icy hillside are acrylic pour technique, with areas of brush painting as well.
 
NOTE:  The photos were taken outside in very bright sunlight to show the gloss of the varnish.   Indoors, the piece will be slightly more blue, and darker.
