This is a larger sized painting for this big Alberta bison.  I began this painting with an acrylic pour for the background.  Once dried I shaped in the bison and painted over the cells of the pour, maintaining areas of the pour and some of the cells in areas, particularly the face.  This took many layers of glazes and I used various tools.  There are hints of gold and copper for some hints of bright metallic.  The sides are painted black.  The painting is sealed with Kamar and UV-Resistant varnishes.
