This painting began with an acrylic fluid paint pour design.  I the. let the pour dry and continued later with brush painting, and adding of the polar bear.  I painted the area to retain the pour so what translucent,  to give the impression of depth and layers of ice, rock, and water, which the polar bear is climbing out upon.  The circle is not centred within the square canvas, as I at first had a snow globe to paint on, but I liked the way it was shaping up as water and ice instead.  So, I took some artistic license here, and this was the end result.  The painting is sealed with Kamar nd UV-resistant varnishes.
