This painting starts with an acrylic pour.  I've painted on the dried pour further to create this unique original piece.  I created this to accompany my Ealges Perch painting.  The colors are rich and rustic, and the earthy orange tones of the barn owls against the dark backdrop are striking and fit perfectly.  I really enjoy creating depth and a 3D feel within all areas of the painting.  
The piece is sealed with rich glossy Kamar and UV-resistant varnishes.
