This magical piece is created in many layers and stages.  The beautiful big old trees give some shelter to the forest friends below.  If you'd like to see my process in creating this piece, please feel free to check my You Tube channel.  The sides are painted black and the piece is sealed with Kamar spray varnish which gives a rich glossy sheen finish.
