This is an acrylic pour base.  I first created the colorful background base and let it dry.  I then hand painted the owl family and the visiting squirrel.  I painted many layers of washes and created depth to create depth and a home for the owls and squirrel.  The colors are very vibrant, and there's lots of pour details, such as lacing and cells within.  The painting is finished with Kamar and UV varnishes.
